The Town of Belmont is fortunate to have many automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) located in schools, public buildings and playing fields. Citizen CPR is also an important tool to be used in conjunction with these devices to improve survivability during a sudden cardiac event. The community care provided before the arrival of our firefighter/paramedics greatly improves the chances for a successful outcome during these medical emergencies.
The Belmont Fire Department is proud to provide CPR training to many Town of Belmont employees and residents. We schedule regular sessions in which the public may learn this live- saving skill.
