The Belmont Fire Department is proud to provide exceptional out-of-hospital care. Our dual role firefighter/paramedics and EMTs staff an advanced life support (ALS) Rescue (ambulance). In addition, we are able to staff fire companies with firefighter/paramedics to ensure that ALS level care is available at an incident scene quickly, even when the rescue is on another call. Responding from our two strategically located firehouses with ALS care providers ensures the best possible chance for a successful outcome for our residents.
Our personnel receive monthly training led by our Medical Director, and EMS Coordinator. In addition, each call to which we respond is review for quality assurance. Our members take great pride in being on the leading edge of pre-hospital emergency care and look forward to any opportunity to increase the availability of ALS care to our community.
