Firefighters recently educated the community in free lifesaving skills at fire headquarters. The in person skills training allowed students to achieve a CPR certification, learn the proper administration of Naloxone (Narcan), and practice ways to control traumatic bleeding. This community training was made possible through funds received from the Opioid Abatement Grant.
